Magnum ice cream have launched another pop up ice cream shop just in time for the summer.
Due to the success of last year’s opening in Covent Garden, the brand have opened a store this month on South Molton Street, just off Oxford Street and not far from New Bond Street.
These pop up stores are associated with the brand’s new campaign to ‘Release the Beast’ and daring the customer to go double with their new ice cream flavours – Double Chocolate, Double Caramel and Double Peanut Butter.
The London Pop Up is only a small site at 70 square meters but showcases a vibrant interior with a large feature wall that quotes “A day without pleasure is a day lost.” The gold Magnum holograms act as an interesting backdrop for the ice cream bar which encloses a variety of toppings ranging from black sugar charcoal, chocolate popping candy, gold flakes, pistachios and silver pearls.
The large ice cream model is a real stand out piece of visual merchandising in the window including the smaller models which appear in a row on the opposite side.
ebdi provided a full turnkey solution for Magnum from technical design to procurement and manufacture of equipment, full project management services and on site installation.
Working with the brand every step of the way is really important to ebdi – Bringing the client’s vision to life in a retail environment.
This will be the sixth store that ebdi have collaborated on and fitted out for Magnum Ice cream.
In addition to London, Magnum have also launched new pleasure stores in Paris France, Soho New York, Cannes France, Lisbon Portugal and Berlin in Germany.
The official store launch took place on June 1st and featured celebrities such as Singer Ella Eyre and Models, Winnie Harlow, Vogue Williams and Donna Air. They all took to the dipping bar to design their very own Magnum ice cream.
It’s hard not to resist – there are too many opportunities to stop for an ice cream now!
